happy (06/09/09)

Leona Lewis' new single is out!
A grower that is emotionally evoking lyrically.

Someone once told me that you have to choose

What you win or lose, you can't have everything
Don't you take chances, you might feel the pain
Don't you love in vain, 'cause love won't set you free

I could stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by
So unhappy but safe as could be

So what if it hurts me?
So what if I break down?
So what if this world just throws me off the edge?
My feet run out of ground

I gotta find my place
I wanna hear my sound
Don't care about all the pain in front of me
'Cause I'm just trying to be happy
I just wanna be happy

Holding on tightly, just can't let it go
Just trying to play my role, slowly disappear
But all these days they feel like they're the same
Just different faces, different names
Get me out of here

Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

So many turns that I can't see
Like I'm a stranger on this road
But don't say victim
Don't say anything

First of all, nobody (or at least myself) gives a fuck if you're feeling "impeccably annoyed". Secondly, stop being such a retard calling me snobbish just because I hate Microsoft & worship Apple Inc., & making it sound as if you've been tolerating me when we hardly converse. Thirdly, if I've truly molded into the prevailing culture of Singapore, I wouldn't be fighting to de-conform myself. What does a bitch like you who only cares about looking pretty & falling in love knows about fighting for your life? Fourthly, stop assuming like you know me well enough when you clearly haven't. Go fuck your eyes with some of my recent notes on Facebook before you come around thinking you know everything. Lastly, yes, I'm planning to migrate when the time comes, & insist there's a truckloads of "shithell" to complain about this dreadful island that makes me wanna leave.

Here's one for you - FUCKTARDS SINGAPOREANS LIKE YOU.

What can YOU do about it? There are plenty of others out there like me, whom aren't apologetic to not be one of the 90% of patriotic Singaporeans whom are proud to be a citizen here.

And stop being such a dumbtard again. I deleted you to make you "pee in pants"'? Is that seriously all you got? Deleting you off barely takes a inch of energy, what makes you think I would actually go further to intimidate you? You do not deserve my time & energy. You stood in my way, & I stripped you off. Simple as that.

Also, tell that GOD DAMN FUGLY boyfriend of yours that beyond the LGBT community, plenty of heterosexuals cannot stand people like him "for nuts" either. *shrugs* I mean, combined with that fugly piece of face? HELL NO. *shrugs x10* I actually used to admire you two for being such a lovely couple.

And since you made me swallow your assumptions, I shall stuff mine down into you too. Boyfriends like yours whom are intolerant towards the LGBT community are usually gonna cause some serious 'understanding' problems to erupt in the future. And if he's feeling so intolerant, maybe he should be the one fucking off to desolation.

I cannot believe that I was good friends with fucktards like you. What a joke.

So fuck you, & fuck off. Period.

One of the most undesired scenarios took place today in school. I was challenged, insulted & pushed to the edge. Yet I made sure I ain't gonna just be another sponge once more, & I fought back with a bite. Thank you Cheng Hui for being there when I was all shaken. Thank you Jason for that unprecedented compliment that made what happened all worth while.

Sometimes, we need to break ourselves down once in awhile, so when we rebuild ourselves back, we build ourselves up stronger.

The incredibly heartfelt "Bandslam" consistently exceeds current teen-flick standards thanks to its snarky humor, its strong musical sequences, and its ability to convey the excitement the characters feel both about performing and forming new friendships.

Just avoid watching this one with a audience of young, squealing school girls.

Its breathtaking cinematography combined with Audrey Tautou gives you stellar in "Coco Before Chanel". With that said, this film better teach Singaporeans to dress better in simplicity.

And to those useless straight boys: So what am I not supposed to say what I'm saying? Are you offended by the message I'm bringing? Call me whatever 'cause your words don't mean a thing. Guess you ain't even a man enough to handle what I sing. Little boys, think y'All so cute & coy. But must talk so big to make up for smaller things.

A revamped blog after two long years with vintage. Featuring a much more cleaner & simpler outlook with some of my favorite scenes from "Shelter" (told ya I'm obsessed).

While I had a great time laughing, I was also moved to tears. A movie where at its heart, a story about family. The two main leads not only looked too good, they share a certain, intensive comedic chemistry.

While "The Proposal" might not be ground breaking stuff, it sure is a delightful and very enjoyable distraction that will lift your spirits.

Trying all I can to raise the money for Beyoncé's upcoming Singapore gig. *sigh*

(16/08/09)

From the 7th to the 13th of August, I had the most splendid seven days for the first time in a really long time. I spent some really good quality time with myself. I finally tasted McDonald's breakfast again. I caught a spectacular action film, a heartwarming animated film, & a evoking drama film. I passed out at Lady GaGa's concert, & had an awesome time catching up with my best bitch & literally surprisingly, Fen Mien too. I'm through with religions, & I plan to leave Singapore by the time I turn thirty-five. Also, Mariah's upcoming record is slated for a September 29 release instead.

I'm completely obsessed with "Shelter", having to watch it six times so far within three weeks. It's the wallpaper for my MacBook, the display icon for my messenger, & its soundtrack is ferociously taking over my iTunes.

Bottom-line: I had just the right kind of recharge I need. *smiles*

gaga for GaGa (12/08/09)

I am still recovering from the effects of having my mind blown away during Lady GaGa's Singapore stop for her world tour. I was so blown away, I passed out. Yes, I literally fainted. Because it has never happened to me before, I actually thought I was going to die when I couldn't see a thing. *laughs*

I simply love how she was unafraid to express herself. I was moved when she reminded all of us to pursue our dreams & to always be ourselves. And how she also made all the gay boys happy dedicating a song for us was certainly the best part! (Check under my Facebook videos for clips from the concert!)

Not trying to exaggerate, but the concert really changed my life in a very personal way. *grins* And thank you to the company I went with! I thoroughly enjoyed y'all!

supposedly third year (30/07/09)

It's July 30th again;

Marking a very special day & occasion for me, three years ago. Though there isn't a need for any celebration no more... Oh well.

I caught "Shelter" three days earlier, a movie which does tells of a love story between two men, but I wouldn't necessarily call it gay-themed. It offers an array of different views on various subjects such as - domestic struggle, confusion, frustration, acceptance, discovery & reconciliation.

There is just something so ambiguous about this highly raved film that is giving me serious side-effects not even "Brokeback Mountain" could achieve. Probably it's because how it's set in the present day. Maybe it's because the movie ended on a lovely note, or because sex was kept to a minimal. Possibly because the movie is about everlasting love between homosexuals.

But three things' for sure. Firstly, this film portrayed non-stereotypical gay men. The two lead characters lead very normal lives, and enjoys normal everyday activities, enabling a wider range of audience to relate to the movie. Secondly, Trevor Wright was not only cute, his performance was acute & simply incomparable. He delivered & played such a convincing role, you literally sympathize with his character. Lastly, the soundtrack to the movie is simply evocative, making the impression inevitable.

It took me away & caused me to dream. I cannot wait to catch it again over the weekends!

And cheers to my air-conditioner that is finally fixed!
